I learned a valuable lesson today. Next time I decide to make a quilt using the color challenge colors, I won't use ever color on both of the designs. It makes it hard to see that it's a quilt. I wish that I had used two colors for the plaid and two colors for the coloring book page. Oops.
I love Karen's colors today, and I wish I didn't have to use them for a sympathy card, but I decided to combine with the Teapot challenge today. I love making quilt cards and I find them quite comforting, so this card is going to Robin's family. I think there's nothing worse than making a sympathy card for the loss of a child, but I try not to make them dull and stuffy, because what kid would want that? I used this coloring page that has leaves and bugs and fun things on it and also made my own plaid. Then I used my ScanNCut to cut out the quilt pattern. I sure hope that the recipients find this card comforting.

What a fantastic and very soothing sympathy card this is. I love the homemade plaid which I think works perfectly with your nature-themed paper, and the quilt design is fantastic. Now I am wishing I had thought to make a quilt card. This will be very comforting to the family and I know these bold butterflies will bring a smile to their face too. ~Karen.
