I know this looks a lot like one of my color challenge cards from yesterday. It is actually a reject of my first attempt at the CC - I smeared some of the ink when stamping the sentiment, but I could just hear Susie A. in my head - she kept telling me not to throw it away but add more ink or something. So I folded it and added white craft ink and a bit of distress ink and the black ink was covered or folded away or something.
No heart - just a golden flower brad and I moved the ribbon/string down so my cowboys and horses wouldn't be covered up.

So you persevered and it paid off for you, Nancy, in a wonderful way I must say! Sometimes I get too flustered so I rip up the panel into pieces so there is no way it could be saved~ Lol

You not only saved your "reject", but made it even better. Fantastic bg for your silhouetted cowboys. I like how you moved the horizontal element down...doesn't cut the card in half....better design-wise. Well done, Nancy.

Wonderful take on the sketch. Good for you setting the panel aside and using it another day! Clever idea to add the score lines and ink to cover the smudge. I like the embellishment and how you lowered the raffia/ribbon to showcase the image. Well done, Nancy! TFS

What a great job on this card. Who would have known you covered up anything. I just love your style Nancy. I am working on making a card from the sketch, but it has kind of stumped me. Hopefully, I will get inspired. However, I don't think I could ever come up with something this cool....
