I fell blessed and honored to be joining the color challenge team as s guest designer in the month of May for the 3rd time. I never felt my work was good enough for one time much less 3. I hope I won't disappoint these fine and talented ladies.
Pam is the hostess this week and she has given us the color pink pirouette and black with a dessert of vellum.
It just so happened I was working on a birthday card for my DIL who loves pink. I did a Susie Australia move and removed the bow from the Rubber Necker dress image. I colored it with copic R81,& R83 for the pink and C0 gray, for the shadow on the bottom of the dress. I closed in the lines and cut it out on with the brother SNC2, which I love. Then I added black Nuvo crystal drops for the buttons. The Happy Birthday is PTI, large & scalloped oval are SU, piercing tool and mat also SU. I cut the black rectangle with MFT die. I embossed using old cuttlebug EBF Happy Birthday and Argyle. I punched the pink vellum flowers (which looks white) using an old McGill flower punch and stacked a few layers for dimension. I added a black pearl to the centers.
Thanks for taking the time to look and leave a comment. Your comments make me a better Stamper!
Happy Stamping,
Tonda

Oh, Tonda! Congratulations on being this month's guest designer! You so deserve it, and you will delight us each and every week! I love this beautiful dress and appreciate the "alternation" you made (well done from a seamstress). I just love the flowing skirt, and what beautiful texture you've added with the embossing! Lovely flowers, and I know your DIL will love it! It's so nice to see you back in the gallery! Hugs and love, sweet friend!
