Such a surprise to find Replacements, Ltd. to be our inspiration site today. I am registered with them looking for the name of my crystal, yes I do not remember the name, so if you know, please share! Also on this site is my good china. I am from the time when we picked out our china when we turned 16, and that is the only present we received for the next 10 years! I turn 65 in June, so, that I still like my pattern is a miracle. So of course, I picked my dishes for my inspiration.
I used stamps from the Beautiful Day stamp set. As I knew I could not make a wreath shape, I angled it so as to not look like a failed attempt. I painted with Zig brushes, stamped the bird and fussy cut, attaching her on a foam dot. My bird CC has been to the vet twice this week. Once to have her wings clipped, nails done and beak done and a general check up and two days later back as she had night fright and hurt her wing. She is swollen and on pain meds and cage rest for a time. Poor girl. So, this card is for my vet, Dr. House. She has been my vet for years and years, I had my dogs with her, and now CC.
Anyway ... sorry to go on. Thanks for having a look. aplaceforkia

You created a lovely card from your inspiration. I really like those dishes. Your little bird on the wreath branch is so cute, and I love all the soft colors. Hope CC recovers very soon!

Oh my gosh, Kia, this card is very "tweet"! I love the colors and the delicate flowers and of course that little bird. I do hope CC gets better soon! Poor girl! I am so enjoying this gallery--getting a glimpse into everyone's home at their china

Oh, Kia, what a beautiful dish and crystal! You surely chose well many years ago, and they are still so stylish. What a beautiful card you've made inspired by these items, and I love that you are giving this lovely card to CC's vet! I love this little bird that really looks like CC! Praying that she is comfortable, safe, and heals quickly! Such a beautiful way to thank you vet for caring for your CC and for all your sweet furry and feathered friends over the years! What a blessing! Hugs and love! xoxo
