I am giving a big hug to all Aussies today. What would we do without their beautiful creations here on SCS? They're a very talented bunch. I am not doing a case of any particular card but I always notice Susie Australia's beautiful, intriguing backgrounds (not that I can replicate them) and she has done quite a few rainy day backgrounds so this is a card dedicated to her.
I crumpled foil (not too tightly), open it, and swiped my colors on it for the background, then misted with water. I put my w/c paper face down into it. Let that dry.
Placed my stencil onto the dried bg and used Rich Cocoa to place color into it. On some of the stencil, I just rubbed my stain over it and placed it face down onto my paper. Next, I stamped my trickling water and used a white gel pen in the highlighted spots.
I stamped, colored, and fussy cut my flowers. I popped them on with dimensionals.
I don't know yet what I'll use my card for so didn't stamp a sentiment.
Hope you're having fun, Susie, while you're away.
Edited because I thought it needed some color around photo.

What a STUNNING background...love your vibrant colors, but the pièce de résistance for me are those fabulous raindrops. This bg is perfect for your fussy-cut and beautifully colored popped blossoms!

I am amazed with the awesome rain drops you've created. What an artist. I've never been to Australia but if the blooms are this beautiful I hope to one day see it.
