Time to Tickle a Teapotter. I'm the hostess for this week's challenge, Surely, You Jest! I'm extending April Fool's Day and looking for court jesters, faux techniques or just plain old silliness. My court jesters were inspired by the two funky teapots at the bottom of the challenge.
I stamped the images on heavy cs, colored with alcohol markers and colored pencils, accented with gel pens and fussy cut. Embossed black Core'dination paper and sanded to expose the white. Backed the leaping jester with a brad, placed an eyelet in the bg to allow it to twirl. Popped up the other jester with dimensional tape. Mounted the panel on white card base. Added die cut Shine and sticker backed with gold paper to complete.

I bow really really low to your coloring and fussy cutting skills as well as your eye for design, Carla. Very nicely done. Thanks for a fun challenge this week.

Oh my Carla that card is fantastic and the embossed BG with the sanded paper is a terrific addition to the images. Super fun challenge and great card you created from your teapot theme.

Boy, you truly rocked this challenge with this fantastic card! I love these wonderful court jesters that you colored and fussy cut to the 9's. The sparkle theme and sentiment are a bit unexpected (for me) and really fantastic for this card. I also love the dark background that allows all your elements to shine! ~Karen.
