Pam gave us some beautiful springy colors with dessert of spring or Easter. I thought this was a great challenge to combine with TLC16 which was DIY definition background. I copied the definition of spring into Microsoft Word and formatted it into small Times New Roman font in two columns with "justified" alignment to make it into Good dictionary page. Then I sponged it with antique linen and distressed the edges. I stamped the flowers and butterfly directly onto the dictionary page and colored with Spectrum Noir and Copic markers. Finished with clear Wink of Stella on the images and splattered gold Wink of Stella across the card.
I wanted to choose a spring blooming flower instead of hydrangeas that won't bloom for me until July, but I decided to use this stamp because I've never used this one before.
Happy Spring, everyone! Tomorrow we are forecasted to get 5-8" of snow from our fourth nor'easter of the month of March. Ah, spring in New England.

This is FABULOUS! I love the "dictionary" technique and have used it in the past for graduation cards (I haven't uploaded to SCS), but this is truly beautiful!!! Bundle up, spring will arrive, eventually.

You are so clever, thinking outside the box and creating your own background. The pretty hydrangeas and butterfly look amazing on the printed background.

Your creative mind blows me away Jen! Love your efforts to make a dictionary page as your bg! I’ve been looking for DP that resembles dictionary pages, so I truly appreciate what you’ve done here!
Your hydrangeas look terrific and are a favorite for anytime of year!
Outstanding work of art!
