Sabrina has challenged us to do some spring cleaning today. I thought I'd try a bokeh background with the bleach. I started off by stamping the grass and the bugs and then embossing the "Birthday" in copper. Then I dipped a Q-Tip in bleach and made random dots around the page. While I set that aside to dry, I worked on Vicky's CCEE challenge to do a word die cut technique. I always like it the result when I see someone put several layers of embossing onto a word die cut to make it look metal. And that reminded me that I've been wanting to try the "Faux Metal" technique from TLC 14 (still working my way through those challenges). So I used the Itty Bitty Backgrounds stamp to give the "happy" a sort of hammered copper look. Finished with a cute heart charm that my friend had given me. There's A LOT going on in this card, but I think it all works together pretty well.
Accessories: Spellbinders Card Creator A and B dies, bleach, Q-tip, copper EP, heart charm, black twine, Copper Sharpie, Wink of Stella brush, white gel pen, foam squares, Brother ScanNCut

This is so magical looking, Jenn, with so many wonderful elements. Your bleached bokeh is fantastic and so truly effective. I also love the faux metal "happy" and your lovely results and perfectly paired with the cute heart charm.
