This card is for Kia's CAS challenge to use a bird image. This Carolyn Shores Wright image reminds me of "CC" so here it is.
The card is also for the colour challenge and believe it or not there are only three colours used. Tempting Turquoise, Peekaboo Peach & Berry Blast.
I stamped the image with StazOn Saddle Brown then using the gloss tile I scribbled the SU markers onto the tile and picked the colour up with an aqua brush first wetting each area worked on with another aqua brush.
The green leaves were created by blending a little of the turquoise and peach together and the purple was achieved by mixing turquoise and berry together.
The branch is a blend of berry and peach.
The little greeting was stamped with turquoise then over stamped with Versa Mark and clear heat embossed.
Lastly the twine was wrapped around and then the whole panel was attached to some craft foam and placed on the card base.
Had great fun doing this card and happy with the way it turned out.
Hope it inspires.
Cheers Marg

Oh my! Marg, this is darling, and I can see CC in it -- the attitude! Hehe! Beautifully colored, and thanks for sharing your process and how you achieved the colors. Stunning and so inspiring. I have this stamp too. Hugs! xoxo

Terrific blending on your card Marg! You achieved some stunning colors and I know I am taking away a couple of ideas from it. Love that bird, you've made a terrific card!
