I watercolored my background swiping in inks on foil. This was put behind my circle die.
The birds were cut away from Penny Black's stamp, The Sweetest Sound, (not using the rest of the image). The branches were added and I used a small eraser from my lead pencil to dip in my ink pad for the berries/leaves.
I was expecting my background to have more blue but now I think it looks like a rain forest.

Beautiful circle background for your pretty birds, Brenda. Your watercoloring is terrific, and a great way to create the berries and leaves too. Stunning!

Brenda, you did a fantastic job with your chosen inspiration piece! You used a variety of great techniques too. I loved the color you attained swiping of inks on foil AND your watercolored birds are so complimentary to the background! A very nice card indeed!
