I love the hedgehog, cat, and doggie stamps in Penny Black's So Loved stamp set, and I wanted to create a card using the hedgehog. This week's sketch challenge and way to use it challenge presented me with the opportunity I needed to use the stamp on a card.
SC682: I took some liberty with the sketch and turned it horizontally, and instead of three hearts, the stamp I used has five hearts. Hope you don't push the reject button, Diane!!
WT673: Lisa asked for cards of love.
I stamped my images onto a piece of X-Press It Blending Card Stock. This card stock is great for copics; however, it has a light gray hue to it. So, if my card seems a little gray, your eyes are not deceiving you.
After stamping the images, I colored them with shades of pink and brown. Each heart is covered with clear Wink of Stella, which shows slightly. I cut a Rose Red panel using Lawn FawnÂ’s Stitched Rectangle Frames and attached the image panel and frame to a Neenah Solar White card base. This is a CAS card to me!!
Thanks so much for leaving comments!

I love this little hedgie with all the hearts stuck on him. The sentiment is so sweet, and I love the overhead dangling hearts.

I swooned when I saw your wonderful card Bev! This little hedgie is so darling with all the hearts in her spikes which reminds me of when ladies used to use big pink curlers in their hair- fun! I love the row of hearts at the top, your fabulous scripty sentiment and how you framed it all out with this wonderful stitched red layer. You really made an amazing card for all of the challenges Bev! ~Karen.
