| | I made this card for 2 challenges. The first challenge is the Teapot Tuesday challenge where Lisa asked us to make a card that represents peace. I really wanted to make a card for Linda (the recipient of this week's cards) so I hope these tulips bring her some peace. For me tulips are such a welcome sight in the springtime and they calm me down no matter when I see them. The 2nd challenge is the color challenge. Karen chose Blushing Bride, Pink Pirouette and Pear Pizzazz- oh joy! I love pinks and greens. Even though I am almost late to both of these parties, I really wanted to play so I am edging this card in under the wire. I think I made close to 8 versions of this card because I could not get the proportions right at all. I finally decided enough and I am posting this card and putting it in the mail to Linda. Ha! Thanks for looking today. ~Karen. |
