Monday is, as always, housework day here...but I didn't want to miss Lyn's first TLC challenge, so I pulled out a stash background. This is plan B - I might yet get plan A (conceived in work) to come together when I can give it more time. I wanted to make a bridge card with a silhouetted hedgehog, and my toadstool border for the bridge. But when I got home from work and stamped my hedgie and coloured him - well, I wasn't convinced that if you didn't know that's what it was you'd recognise it. Whereas I reckoned this Unity giraffe would be instantly recognisable. It's stamped on one of my glossy photo paper and DOX backgrounds (not all gloss photo papers work), so I haven't a clue what colours I used. I stamped the giraffe with Archival black and coloured with a Sharpie, then stamped the grasses and leaves. I added a white gel pen border and some little Liquid Pearl dots in through the grass - so I reckon as a new stamp it also fits Jeanne's MIX challenge from last week.

Oh Sabrina, this is stunning. You chose such a perfect stamp for the silhouette technique, and it goes so well with the sentiment. Your bg is just stupendous...such gorgeous, vibrant colors.

Oh boy! Don't get this beauty anywhere near me, or Judy. We LOVE giraffes! I love your bg colors, and the grasses and leaves at the bottom ground him so nicely. An amazing and awesome card, my friend. Fav'd. Of course!!
