Here's my sample for Toni's WTUI challenge, Christmas Bird Count. Hope you'll play along and add some more birds to the count!
I masked out the cherry blossoms to change these sweet spring birds to snow birds. Colored them with alcohol markers and white gel pen. Die cut the panels, a frame and some holly. Sponged on inks to create a wintry sky and added snow with a white gel pen. Assembled the layers and added a little glitter with red and copper gel pens and red sequins to finish. Another Christmas card done! TFL

This is beautiful, Carla. The navy card adds a great wintery coldness, lightened by the lacy die-cuts and wonderfully soft, snowy sky. And of course the birds are adorable.

I am loving all the bird-themed cards in this gallery. What a great challenge. Carla, love your birds, so pretty and so cheerful on their branch, chirping away in the softly falling snowflakes.

Wow! This is one gorgeous card. These blue birds look amazing set against this wonderful snowy bg you created. I love the fancy frame that you have matted your image panel on and the holly accents too. ~Karen.

This is such a beautiful card! Wonderful job of coloring. It was a great idea to mask off the cherry blossoms so that you could use the stamp as a winter scene.
