I love, love the textured green in this image here.
Created an alcohol ink bg with greens and as it was drying I splattered with white acrylic paint. When this was dry, I put the cs in my MISTI and stamped and embossed my deer. Then I put a piece of white cs in the same place in the MISTI (without moving it) and stamped and embossed the bottom portion of the deer. I tore this bottom piece and attached it to the alcohol ink panel. There was a tiny gap of the deer image which I filled in with a permanent marker. Stamped the sentiment and added some die cut snowflakes. So happy with how this turned out!!

How beautiful. I would have never thought to use green as the background for those silhouetted deer, but it works perfectly! I'm so partial to the look of alcohol inks and the white splatters are a wonderful touch. Thanks so much for playing along with us for the snowflake challenge this week over at The Mod Squad. We hope to see you there again soon!

This is fabulous! I would never have thought to use green for the background, but it's great. I love the sense of movement and energy--a snowstorm. Your stylized deer are wonderful too. Thank you for explaining how you made this card.
