Ok, I couldn't stop and made a bunch of tags using Balsam Hill as my inspiration and I played in Loll's Twelve Tags of Christmas Challenge too (I made more...teehee).
You can see a bit of my foliage under the greeting - I hated to cover it but I really wanted to use this greeting.
Cut the recycled cardboard but only pulled off half of the back of it so I could make the untorn section into a snowy bank. Painted on some Acrylic paint and then put on some Snowtex (my fave medium this time of year). Covered a deer in those micro beads still on my counter from the previous tag.
Looking out the window at our little field right now expecting to see a little deer but it is too bright. Hope they stay hidden from those mean black powder season hunters in the hunting camp behind our property!

Oh my, this is another gorgeous Christmas tag Nancy! I just adore how you are using microbeads on your deer die (you have inspired me to reach for my microbeads now!). I have not heard of snowtex before so I need to look this up. You have really tucked a lot of texture and techniques into this one tag, and it adds up to a fabulous Christmas tag. Your sentiment banner really completes this card so beautifully! ~Karen.

Fantastic tag, Nancy! Love the layering of the acrylic white paint and snowtex over the corrugated cardboard. Amazing texture and dimension! And the deer is beautiful in microbeads. I need to pull mine out!! I can see why you wanted to use that sentiment ... it's lovely. Thanks for joining my tag event! xx

Sorry for laughing about the hunters since I have a whole family of them, kids too. Love your style, Nancy and of course the neutrals and browns are my favorites. You added so much to this that I think I scrolled back up many times to absorb it all. These things are really addictive, aren't they? So glad you joined us!
