The background started with Infusions. I do enjoy the effects of these powders, always a surprise. I next ran the tag through the printer to use my favorite Photoshop branches. I stamped the cat and bird but had to resize them proportionately since the bird appeared to outweigh the cat by about 100 pounds. I colored with copics, enhanced with pencils and added glossy accents to their eyes. The sentiment was computer generated to fit on the tag. I added a bit of a turned up smile on the cat with a fine line Copic since some of them look so mean. They were fussy cut and the bird was added to the branches.

Only you could make one of Tim Holtzs stamp sets even better...i love the smile on the cat. Your bg is amazing, and I have no idea how you put anything in a printer that is not 8.5 x 11 and print stuff in the perfect place. The soft colors on this are fabulous.

OMG Nancy, that's so cute, what an amazing scene. I love the soft background you created with the infusions and the trees are amazing. I have some but haven't pulled them out.

What an amazing mix of media, Nancy! Love the background and the branches! And your bird and kitty are so fun! I'm going to remember the trick of "fixing" the cat's scowl into a smile! Turning a frown upside down is always a good idea! I love seeing your creations! They're so....creative!

Oh, Nancy, now this is one that I could imagine making myself...well, one day! I love the cat with the bird, and I'm giggling too about the 100-pound bird! But I love how you've scaled them and agree the smile of the cat was a great idea. They do look so mean (one of the reasons I never got the cats). Love it! Hugs!
