Hi all,
I did this card last night after seeing both challenges up for today. Thank you BTW since I work M-W I don't get a lot of time to play. I did the twisted stone technique Lydia described but I've had a bit of a problem getting much of the sparkle to show...There is a bit at the top you can see though so I went with this pic. This card was super simple as it is one main die cut and then the small thanks which I cut 3 times to give it a bit of dimension (IRL). I made several bg's so I took the thanks out of another piece. This was really fun to do and I was going for a sunset look but it looks more like a forest fire which we have a lot around where I live unfortunately!
Thanks for looking!

I am actually catching quite a bit of your sparkle throughout the bg - At a distance it IS a fiery sunset but up close you can definitely see the tongues of fire lapping at the trees - Wonderful scene with all you die cuts!

What a gorgeous color of your polished stone, Robin! It's beautiful behind that wonderful die cut! I haven't done that technique in a while so thanks for the reminder to try it again. Love how this turned out and you have to love a quick card too!

You sure got some beautiful colours for your background Robin ... love it and love your big black bear too, which is perfect for the forest. I tried the background as well, it is a great technique and maybe I will get time tomorrow to turn it into a card.
Robin, your background really shines. I am afraid mine looks dull in the photo but it's beautiful IRL. Yours is fabulous in the photo and I know it is IRL too! Love the colors!
