I have long had a love affair with Penny Black stamps. When I de-stashed my stamps those were some of the few wood based stamps I kept.
I have fallen in love with the coloring technique PB uses to create a scene. I find them easy to follow with an end result that looks like you put in a lot of hard work!!
I used Copic Markers to add the "fall leaves" to these trees.
Here is my inspiration https://www.victoriantradingco.com/i...llows-eve-tree
This scenic stamp reminds me of spooky bare trees so I added a little fall color to make them not quite so spooky!!

So gorgeous! I'll have to look into Penny Black and their coloring technique. It looks like a piece of art! I also really like that you used a patterned dotted paper for your words! Great job.

Lovely scene card, Sharon. Your light touch with the hint of color in the bg and leaves is very pretty. I agree about the PB stsmps....if I ever stop handing over my pay check to the University of California (2 son's in college) I will buy some. I Don't own any now.

You have created a wonderful Autumn scene. I too love PB stamps - my first stamp was a PB stamp. You have inspired me to use some of these wonderful in the future.

I love your fall card and how you added the colors to yours. Your inspiration piece is a bit on the scary side. :>) I also am a lover of the Penny Black stamps.
