I love the simplicity of today's sketch as I think it works well to let these words of encouragement take front & center.
This week my mother will move out of her home of 65 years into assisted living - and though we let her come to the decision on her own & in her own time, I know the reality of moving is breaking her heart. I am hoping that these words will give her strength & encouragement when the sadness sets in. The inside says, "One of the happiest moments in life is when you let go of what you cannot change". TFL

Beautiful words for the focal point. I like the postage stamp edges. Lovely paper. Well done with the sketch. I'm sorry for the struggle of life's changes for your mom. We went through this same kind of thing with my father. It was a rough go at first, but he's doing well now. I hope for a easier transition for your precious mom and the comfort of knowing it was the right decision for you & your family. Hugs! Thanks for sharing your lovely card and the story behind it.
