My sister asked me if I would create a couple of autumn thank you cards for her to give away so this is the first one. I LOVE the teal pumpkins that are beginning to pop up all over. Not only are they super pretty but they are a symbol for awareness of food allergies. If you place a teal pumpkin on your porch a parent knows they can ask for a non-food treat for their child on Haloween night! Pretty cool!
Our beautiful SC665 challenge this week comes from Cathy! The focal layer is the perfect size to create a little scene. I used images from the Fall for You stamp set by Unity Stamp Co. For the background, I used the Paint Swiping technique. Mine looks a little different than Cathie's beautiful cards because, well, I always take a technique and put my own spin on it!
I am so thankful that you stopped by to take a look! Hugs!

Wow gorgeous! Your card just pops out of the gallery! I did not know there was such a thing as teal pumpkins...I just thought that maybe it got cold on these crisp autumn nights! Thanks for the fun information as well as the lovely visual treat!

Gorgeous!!! I am just getting back to stamping after a 1-year hiatus (new baby), and your card inspires me to do some fun backgrounds! Off to look up the paint swiping technique. Beautiful colors, and I love the pop of teal (and what it means)!

Fantastic BG with the swipe paint. I had no idea about the teal pumpkin. Now I know I am going to have to pick up a teal pumpkin because I know there are so many kids that just can't participate like the other kids. That is a terrific idea. Thank you for that tip. Fantastic card and sentiment and great use of the sketch.
