Cathy's looking for something you find in a classroom in her challenge, WT654 - School Days. My favorite thing in the classroom has always been books!
I'm combining this week's WTUI and Color challenges. I stamped the girls, drew in the bookcase and some books, masked and stamped additional books. Using this weeks colors, I colored the images with pencils and gamsol. Mounted the image panel on plaid pp and added alphabet primer washi tape to finish. TFL, hope you'll play along with us.

This is fabulous! I love the way you made the little girl's hair look so shiny. I too am a book lover (and hoarder). My family makes fun of me because I collect old books...so..I love the smell of them! LOL

"Gorjuss" stamps, Carla. I love all the books, they remind me if all the old ones from my grandmother's house...with clothbound covers, and the dye in them always ran when I read them in the bath. Your lovely soft colouring adds to that nostalgic feel.
