I chose this color combo from our inspiration site today here to make my one layer card.
Stamped the scene in my MISTI, using markers and small ink pads - adding bits of color at a time and stamping repeatedly. When I was satisfied, I cleaned my stamp and then stamped with versamark and clear embossed the whole scene. Then I masked for my moon and the snow across the bottom, so I could sponge my sky. Splattered white acrylic paint for snow, added some snow on some of the branches with a white gel pen, then embossed the sentiment in white. Removed masks and sponged softly around edges of the card. Love how this is just a one layer card! Jill Foster has some great videos of this technique if you are interested - she is a master!!

Maura, I would say you have mastered this technique as well! This is so beautiful, just like a blustery moonlit night after a snowstorm. You've given the snow a wonderfully fluffy look on the tress and branches.
