Pam is our hostess this week, and she has asked us to use Blushing Bride, Wisteria Wonder and Pear Pizzazz in our creations. A beautiful combo! For the dessert option, she has encouraged us to use Vellum.
Well, y'see, I have a love/hate relationship with vellum. I love it on other people's cards, but I always have trouble using it, and never am pleased with my results. Take this card for example! I started out by using Zig markers to color in the flowers and leaves on a piece of the vellum that goes with the set of stamps and dies. It was OK, but I didn't love it.
Pushed ahead and cut the flower and leaves, and started trying to figure out how to place them to hide as much of the vellum as possible! It occurred to me to use a Blueprints die to accomplish that, and I think it may have rescued this card.
I hope you can play along with us this week. Pam has chosen some beautiful colors. Remember, you can still join us even if you don't have these exact colors.
Use what you have in your stash that's close. Just don't add any additional colors. Remember the challenge is to create a card with the 3 colors that we give you. Plus neutrals of course - white-vanilla-black-gray or brown.

Score!! Barbara saves the card, and ends up with a beauty! Love it, and I totally can relate to your love/hate relationship with vellum. Notice, there is no vellum to be seen on my card! Ha, ha!
