I combined the scrapbook sketch challenge and theme challenge for this week! I only used one page of the sketch layouts to choose from. The theme challenge was to do a layout based on inspiration that you get from any source.
I found my inspiration in the June CK magazine (that I got today!). There is an article on doodling, so I doodled my journaling on the red strips of cardstock along three of the edges of the page. It's hard to see, but it says "Boy, oh boy! Don't let this innocent face fool you! Tilted head...sweet little grin...tight lips...I love this kiddo, but he sure can turn on the charm!" and I pretended that I was in high school again and doodled all around the words.
You were also supposed to add flowers somewhere on the page, so I just doodled mine! I doodled flowers, stars, dots, swirlies.....you know, everything that you doodled back in high school!
The other piece of inspiration that I added was the parentheses around the main photo. I've seen this on a few layouts recently, so I was inspired to add the parentheses as well as the doodling!
