Thank you for your nice comments. I am so glad that you like this card. Here are the instructions:
On Bordering Blue cardstock I layed a torn piece to scrap paper ( with dotto or removeable tape) on the back of it to hold it in place. Next I sponged (VERY LIGHTLY) the different blues and Green Galore onto the uncovered part of the cardstock until I liked the color. Then I stamp the moon with the circle shape in Vanilla Craft ink, removed the scrap paper and LIGHTLY sponged Night of Navy onto the upper portion of the card leaving the cardstock plain around the moon to give it a halo dffect. I stamped the fishermen in Black Stazon ink or you could use any black ink that is waterproof. To complete the water I fliped the the stamp up side down and just inked the water portion and stamped that to finish the water. I highlited the water with a
silver gel pen. I used markers to darken the moter and the boat. I hope this helps.
The key to creating a vellum illusion on the card stock is to use very light pressure when you are sponging. There are so many nice things that you can do with this technique.
Have fun and create!!!! I would love to see what you all can come up with. I am so glad to be a part of such a nice an creative group of Stampin Buddies.
God Bless
Deb
