I stamped with the backdrop MFT stamp, and then watercolored with Marina Mist I used my aqua painter to spread ink around as I had the old style ink pad and the flat backgrounds stamp showed the linen marks from the stamp pad. I added a few splotches of azure smooch to the water after I stamped the birds in choc. chip. I added T.T.W. happy birthday in marina mist along the fore stay of the sailboat using stamp a ma jig. Sponged all the edges with marina mist. This is for alpha. challenge "W" and double to use Wetlands. Also used the striped ribbon for WT625 challenge. TFL

What a fantastic nautical/beach-themed card this is Shirl. Wow! I love the colors you used, this wonderful wide-striped ribbon you turned into a banner, these fabulous water colored birds in the sand and this terrific sailing boat. I just adore how you placed the sentiment on this card! What a fabulous card for the challenges my friend. Hugs! ~Karen.
