Roberta is our hostess this week and she has chosen blackberry bliss, daffodil delight, garden green and for dessert: bling! I have no Blackberry, so I substituted Elegant Eggplant. No dessert for me this week – just couldn’t make it work.
Using the smooshing technique (ink on acetate sheet/spritz with water/press onto wc panel), I created my bg on watercolor cs, and then spattered with diluted eggplant, green and white acrylic paint. I also stamped a bit (after stamping off) with the splat stamp from French Foliage. Die cut my frame, including a garden green mat, and stamped more ink spats on that. Assembled all and added dragonflies. No sentiment this time – I like to have some cards that do not include a specific sentiment.

I missed this one earlier, I was so smitten with your second card ... giggles. I love this too ... the dragonflies are fabulous with the background/framing and those wonderful splats.

Oh my, I do love this background you created as well as the splatters on the framing. Your white dragonflies just give this card a wonderful light and airy feel - into my faves!

This is a fantastic watercolor smooshed background...love your colors together and the enhancing ink, paint and stamp splats and splattering. It all works so well together with your lovely popped dragonflies. Brings a whiff of spring to our cold, rainy, snowy winter here in the Northwest!
