This is my card for alpha challenge round 7 letter X and free for all challenge #366. For letter X, I made lots and lots of little X's for my cross stitch rose. I stamped the rose on the back of my cardstock, then laid it on my light box over graph paper. I just sort of guessed at where the colors should be. I first used the fine point on the markers, but wasn't happy with it, so I went over it with the brush tip, and like the amount of color so much better. Up close, it's messy looking and certainly not perfect, but at least it looks like a rose, so I'm happy with it.

Wow Melody, I cannot even imagine how you made this image to look like a cross stitch image, but you sure did it! This is really some impressive and creative paper engineering my friend. ~Karen.

Fabulous!! I used to cross stitch (when my eyes were younger) and I think your faux cross stitching is outstanding. Looks just like it. Your technique is amazing. Into my favs. Spectacular idea for Letter X. Well done. TFS
