True confession time... I only made one of these, but I think I remade it four times!!
WT623 asks us to make a shaped card! I was sooooo excited, I'll make them with my unused MFT camera die!!! Then reality set in. I actually set the die the wrong way on the fold, so it was opening backwards, it didn't cut through both sides, so I cut out the rest. So instead of doing just a wide strip of shiny black, I had to cover the whole thing, because the back was now the front and it was a mess from the cutting plate.
Then I tried to put acetate over the picture. I got the first punch stuck, fortunately I figured out to punch it between paper and used a larger circle. Even after that, it ended up a gluey mess and I took it off and recut the "lens" part.
In the end I think it's cute. The card is for my aunt's birthday. She is enjoying her first grandchild who will be one in March (He's the spitting image of his daddy). The second will be debuting in June. My cousin's due date is close to my daughters' birthday. My cousin was 13 when my girls were born and she was a huge help to me with the babies. The girls will just be 14 and I know one of them will be baby crazy and want to help.

We all relate to your story of try, try, try again. Been there, done that. Your efforts paid off. What a great card! Love the camera shaped card. Looks fabulous. Love the picture in the middle for the lens. Very well done. Glad you kept at it. TFS

I am so glad you persisted. I think it would be fair to say we have all had our share of upside down or back to front cards LOL. This looks fantastic - I love your write up too.

Your description made me laugh because I went through the same thing with my purse card. I chewed myself out so many times! I have to tell you, your card is adorable, and I would never have known how much it gave you fits to make.

Oh how I can relate to cutting something wrong and doing stuff over a few times. This turned out super. I bet your aunt will just love getting that cutie in a birthday card. Nicely done.
