For my Iris folding, I used ribbon instead of paper or cardstock, and a pattern off the internet. I printed the pattern, taped it down, and placed my die cut panel face down on the pattern. I lay the strips of ribbon accordingly, and finished it off with a sentiment and a few sequins.
An old technique, but one that always pleases the recipient! Find a fun pattern and come play along!

Your card is so pretty. I love your Iris Fold heart and using the ribbon was an awesome idea. Thanks, for the great challenge. This is first time I have done Iris Folding.

Your card is very cute. Thanks for the hint about the ribbon. I need black and don't have any thin black paper but I do have some black seam tape that I can use. Making a stiletto heel for a "fashionable" friends birthday.
