Something old: Fiskars Texture Plate is at least ten years old
Something new: Lost Coast Design, Hero Arts, Stampendous stamps, Black Magic Core'dination Paper
Something borrowed: Polly (Peeps321) Photo Techniques
Something blue: Paper, Bubbles
I've always admired Polly's photo cards. She gets crisp great results and was kind enough to share her techniques with me! I stamped the sweet girl, some extra bubbles and the sentiment with Stazon ink. Then I colored the girl and sponged the panel with cotton swabs and Distress ink. I embossed and sanded the Black Magic paper, exposing the blue core. Mounted the image on the bg and blue card base. TFL

Hi Carla! Happy New Year! Looks like you have lots of new stuff to stimulate the creative juices, but some old stuff you are hanging onto as well Love the vintage look of this sweet design. Those bubbles make me want to jump right in and take a gleeful swing at popping them

Wonderful take on the challenge. Love the vintage looking image of the girl with the bubbles. So sweet and nicely colored. The circles in the background go very nicely with the bubble theme. I like how you put the sentiment on its end along the curve of the image. Fabulous card. TFS

Lovely card, Carla. The bg coordinates so well with the bubbles on your main image. The vertical sentiment continues the feel of bubbles floating away. Faved.
