Playing in the Colour Challenge today using colours as close as I had to the challenge colours. I first set up my images in my Misti, and coloured the sentiment in the chipped sapphire, (it really is blue despite looking black) then removed it. I then coloured the butterfly with my doCraft markers in the green and pink, adding more colour where needed and stamping as required. I then removed my base card and put in another small piece of cardstock and continued to stamp the image with the same colours, and once done I fussy cut the pieces. I coloured the butterfly on my base using my markers. For the cut outs, I sponged the left with shabby shutters and peeled paint and the right with the spun sugar and picked raspberry. I then styled them and attached to my base with glossy accents, and me being me, I added sequins to finish. Thank you for a fun challenge, and thanks for having a look today. aplaceforkia

Oh, Kia, I LOVE these "heart" butterflies and how you've used the colors! Exquisitely done, and I love the "lift" of the wings...brilliant! Hugs, sweet friend!
