Decided I needed a major mojo adjustment so I scanned my dies that are on magnetic strips all over the insides of my storage cabinet doors...and working their way onto the front of my cabinet doors...and also onto the floor. It seems it's time to re-think this set up since the nesting ones seem to want to jump ship quite often. But that's for another day. I was mildly concerned because nothing seemed to stir up any excitement for me. And usually dies will do it. There are so many amazing dies on the market these days. Just breathing them in seems to energize me. But not lately.
When I had been at my LSS a few weeks ago this Cottage Cutz tree die was sending me vibes. That visit I gravitated back to look at it at least 5 times. I liked the rhythm it had. It had Attitude too. Those quirky little trees got my creative juices racing. So I figured this mojo set back deserved this die, and I went back and bought it. Took the shortcut home. Cut it out. Caressed it's curves. Looked at it. And said "What the heck am I going to do with THIS?!" All my creative juices had apparently drained out. And I was evidently on my own. At the store, with it's vibes vibrating, I had had visions of grandeur. I figured this die would carry me through many winters...leading me on to bigger and better designs. Now ZIP.....nothing. Couldn't remember what actual few ideas I had in connection with this die (it's an old people thing). But then I thought that once I drag some of my exciting Paper Mojo handmade papers into the equation things would get better. And, thankfully, I think they did. This particular paper seemed to accentuate the rhythm I originally sensed when I first saw this die. Also, when I placed it behind the die it made me think of the Aurora Borealis. After herding a couple of deer onto it I was feeling that my mojo had been adequately stirred. I glued two of each of the deer (deers ?...probably not) together to get them to stand out a little more. I'm happy with the way it turned out. I wish it would have photographed a little better. It was a very gloomy day and I think my camera has it's own little mojo problem. The richness of the colors and the beautiful delicate lines of gold aren't showing up as well as they do in real life. Love my Paper Mojo papers!
Thanks for taking time out of your busy schedules to pop into SCS today. Have a good one!
Thought this may work for this nighttime challenge (it's a dark background similar to night with the bonus of a pseudo-Aurora Borealis) so I thought I would pop it in.

Ellen, i love this card and have returned to it several times. For your mojo has spoken to my mojo. You have a dance with the dies and the papers that make magic.
