Barbara is our hostess this week and she has chosen: cherry cobbler, mossy meadow, pool party, and for dessert: snow.
Once again, I used the technique that Jill Foster demonstrates on the Penny Black blog - for my background this time (Tranquil stamp). On my card front, I stamped the image with the MISTI multiple times, adding ink a section at a time and adding layers of ink until satisfied with the image. I also added an additional tree on the right (from the Prancer set). For my red color, I stamped a couple of birds from a PTI set. Then, without moving the original stamp, I stamped again with versamark and clear embossing powder, and heat set. This preserves the image and allowed me to sponge the bg with Pool Party (after I masked for the moon). Next, I splattered with diluted acrylic white paint (for a snowy look). Die cut the front panel with my new die and popped up with dimensionals.

Absolutely stunning. The landsacpe has such wonderful depth and I adore the die cut deer which gives a perfectly CAS card. Brilliant! Thanks so much for playing along with 52CCT this month! Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Hugs, Deborah, DT.
