I needed a super quick card for a friend tonight so I checked out the color challenge for this week. Such a fun set of colors! I decided to use them with watercolor. I spritzed and dabbed a bit of brushos for the background then watercolored the image with TH distress ink. I distressed the layers with torn edges and ta da, the card was ready to go! ( I spent more time searching for the sentiment stamp than anything...it had walked over to the computer desk, sigh)
Thanks for taking a look!!!

Oh how I can relate to looking every where for a stamp when creating a card. Super cute card and great water coloring Angie. I am sure your friend loved the card. I love the added torn edge too, we all get our paper on the cutter and yet a torn edge really adds some fun interest on the cards. Beautifully done.

Beautifully done, Angie, and I LOVE these colors today and this absolutely sweet cupcake under glass! I love it, and the sentiment is perfect and such a lovely font! Yes, it's amazing how much time I spendn searching for a single stamp. But I'm so glad you found it. I love this card and your amazing use of Brushos! Hugs! xoxo

I’m very late to the party, but had to say what a wonderful card! I love the deckled edges - even on the sentiment! - and sketchy image in contrast against the crisp white card. Colors are yummy too, and I’m not usually a purple person. : )
