I have been collecting printed transparencies for a while now as I just love them, but I didn't know how to adhere them properly. I learned this weekend and am I ever pumped to use them. This is my first card. The adhesive I used is 100% invisible, so much so it is a bit hard to work with. It is called Gluedots Vellum made by Gluedots. It comes in small 3" x 4" sheets that you cut and then peel off the back and then rub on with your finger. The result is perfect!!! I hope the photo picks up the very subtle B/G stamping done tone on tone with Brilliance ink. The photo seems to be showing a funny glare or shine. This card is truly beautiful in life, moreso than the photo depicts!

Lovely card. Gluedots vellum is a great tip. Like the lace. I have lots of little bits of lace and tatting I would love to be able to use - will have to copy.

Beautiful! Where do you come by printed transparencies? I'm not sure if I know what that is. Is it something you purchase? Or is it something you print off the internet onto vellum? Please share! Thank You!

The transparency I used here was purchased. They come on sheets, like those clear transparency sheets the size of a full sheet of paper. There are many on a page. You can also purchase blank sheets and print them at home, using internet images, your own family photos, etc. The first ones I ever got I bought online from www.tucsanrose.com. She was actually selling samples for $1.00. The one used in this card was purchased from a stamping store closer to my home. You can locate them at www.themark-itplace.com. These are really fun to work with and they usually feature a lot of vintage ladies, children, beautiful vintage Christmas photos, just about anything, but I just love them! The mark-it place has a lot of scemery pictures that are just gorgeous. Good luck!
