I was inspired by the gold and teal in this image on our inspiration site today: http://www.decorativedishes.net/mini...re-plate-tile/ Also, I liked the layout I used here for my color challenge card earlier this week, so decided I would make a slightly different version.
My bg: a technique I learned from Loll Thompson , which consists of droplets of reinker on the craft mat, scooping a bit of inka gold in several places also, spritzing with water, then spreading and mixing a bit with a palette knife. Then you dip/drag your paper through it several times till you like how it looks. Die cut the bird, leaves, and top panel opening and then assembled with dimensional tape for the 3D look. Sentiment is stamped in Delicata gold ink.

That gold paper you used - is sure pretty! I love the bg you created in the turquoise and gold - very pretty and wonderfully made!!
