I wanted this to look like an actual magazine cover with this fashionable woman as my main image. I colored and shaded her using drawing pencils and highlighted with a black pigment pen. I stamped some writing that tells what's in this month's issue (of course you can't read it). I decided the word "Create" was as good a name as any for my magazine. Gold dots were added for fun and of course some classic pearls with the help of the liquid variety. Some metallic gold thread was wrapped around the washi and that's about it. Come play the MIX challenge this week and celebrate black and white photography!

Oh, yes, Polly, this evokes the memories of the many Vogue patterns I had and used! That was the day. I used to make all my clothes, and Vogue patterns were so very stylish - and they were the hardest to follow and were the most costly. However, I was almost certain not to see "myself" in my handmade dress or suit. Beautifully done with this very stylish gal, and I love the script, the gold dots, and the washi tape! Stunning card once again, sweet Polly! You are amazing! Hugs, sweet friend!

Wow this is beautiful and very reminiscent of a 40's or 50's image (I think), so full of class, dignity, and grace. Sorry I missed this, it is inspiring. Thank you!
