Love this technique and did something similar back in 2010 and have only just used the last of that paper in the DTGD challenge.
I will also have saved some from this pressing as I use a sheet of watercolor paper on top as well as underneath. I get excellent imprints from both sides all be it slightly different.
The geraniums I use are hot pink but always come our this purple color. I am thrilled the leaves pressed as well as they did and there is even a slight hint of green, hence the reason for the Pear Pizzaz to try and bring that out more. I also stamped over the greeting a second time with Versa Mark and clear heat embossed to darken the greeting.
Earlier in the day I had been spring cleaning my wardrobe and draws and found some draw liners in a gift box I hadn't used tide up with this purple ribbon. I lined the draws then used the ribbon so a win win situation. lol
