This is for Lee's fun CAS challenge. I am not sure if this is Muriel or Marvyn, but who ever it is doesn't look very well.
The stencilled background is faint but not quite as faint as it looks in the picture. You have no idea how much restraint I have shown in order to make a CAS card.
Thank you for looking.

Mmmmm, dark glasses, green around the gills, I'm thinking this could be a serious case of self inflicted illness. lol
All jokes aside Susie this is one fantastic card, love it. In my favs and pinned.

Awesome! A joyful heart is good like medicine and I think your card will give someone a good dose of smiling. What a sad looking guy, but he's beautifully colored. Gotta love him. Great card!! TFS

This is definitely Marvyn, Susie. I can tell by the slight 5 o'clock shadow. He's feeling Blue because his twin sister Muriel caught a bug and has been very ill. Now, as he's bringing his sister a Beautiful (all your coloring on this card is Excellent by the way!) flower to cheer her up, he is also beginning to feel a little green around the gills...OOPS, he isn't a fish, is he? (not this week, anyway)...green around his little bird ears then. Do birds have ears? I must have missed that in my vast educational experience. They must, or why would they bother tweeting to each other. Isn't it wonderful hearing all the little birds in the trees chirping their little hearts out?
I can see you have shown VERY much restraint! I don't see a single prone bird lying around anywhere on an embroidered pillow with it's little beak sticking up in the air with a tiny thermometer poking out and it's little weak wings spread out to it's sides surrounded by delightful dohickies dangling around her providing a Marvelous atmosphere for one who is beleaguered by the flu. I commend you.
I love the layers and the stitched frame!!! What a Fabulous effect to show Marvyn at his best and most generous. Hope he doesn't puke and mess up your card. Maybe I shouldn't have said that. Ignore it. I never said that.

Love your CASE card. Your colouring rocks. Thanks for leaving me a comment on my card. You asked what OMS is. It is odorless mineral spirits used to blend prismacolor pencil crayons.

Oh, sis! LOL! I love it, and it's definitely Marvyn! Guys always sulk when they don't feel well (even in the least - hehe!). What an amazing CAS from our very own Susie! It's fabulous with the great colors and the soft stenciling, and I love the hammered card stock! Beautifully done, sis! Squishy hugs and hugaroonies! Hehe! xoxo

ha, I love the richness of the colors. I think he could be sandbagging that sick thing for sympathy ya think?
( to me sick-ly is like pea green soup) lol ( with lots of yellow) so, I think the framing makes this totally a killer CAS design too.
