This is for IC555 and the Bowls Pinterest site is our inspiration today. I really enjoyed seeing all the wonderful and creative pottery. I found lots of inspiration but finally settled on the Bowl of Shells. When I saw this piece I instantly thought of the mini shell set that I have and how pretty they would look in a monochromatic scene to mimic the colors of the bowls of shells. Since the shells are so small I didn't create a full sized scene. I wanted the fence, sand, grass and shells to be the main focal point and just have the water and sky area way out in the background. I couldn't resist adding one gull in the sky area but used one small enough to make him appear in the distance. I added glitter to the water line and the sea shells to add some sparkle since everything is basically the same color.

Oh Kittie, this is an amazing work of art! One of your gifts is your ability to create a "fully loaded" card, yet it is edited to perfection! I love the stitched frame, all the gorgeous 3D elements and the unexpected, monochromatic color of this card. Wow! I am constantly "pleasantly surprised" by your work. You keep challenging yourself and in turn, that challenges us! Gotta love that! ~Karen
