Emily has crafted since she was 5 and is now designing on her own. She did acetate smooshing for her background and stamped Grumpy with Versafine and used clear embossing powder. She added just a bit of color with Zig brush markers. She chose the sentiment which seems to fit Grumpy quite well. She asked about embellishing. I threw out some suggestions. She opted to stitch, went through my home made stitching templates and chose the flourish, then made up her own stitches in the corner. I did case her card but hers is much better than mine. Thanks for stopping by.

Thank goodness for Favs of the Week or else I would have missed this BRILLIANT creation!!! Oh my goodness, how proud you must feel. Please tell Emily that I love this card to bits and I have saved it my very favourite Pinterest Board "Weirdo Arty Stuff I Love".

This is a fabulous card. And what a lucky girl to have an experienced mentor next to her. She'll never forget the time you've given her, Nancy -- it's priceless. I believe that counts as nice (she winks).

Emily is something else!!!! Hard to believe someone her age can possess such a talent. I'm sure your mentoring has something to do with it too, Nancy. FANTASTIC!!!
