Audrie gave us a site that CherylQuilts recommended, called the Vermont Store. It didn't take me long to find my inspiration. This bedspread reminded me of one my Grandmother had years ago. http://www.vermontcountrystore.com/s...edspread/50613
Embossed the image....water colored with the inkpad. Water colored the strip of paper to put the sentiment on. Added some embossing with borders. TFL Will be back later to see all the great uploads...off to pick strawberries.

Of course I love it. Great use of blues. Glad you had a walk down memory lane. We walked through memory lane today and spent a fortune. Nothing like great friends, good food and retail therapy at a stamp store. Let the sun shine!

What a gorgeous effect you got on your flowers here. How wonderful you could pick an inspiration piece that reminded you of your grandmother. Special thoughts and times and card. Now I find myself wondering what I can have or do so my Grandsons have things to remind them of me (other than 8 million crafting supplies and cards, ink and paint bottles all over a messy house - lol).
