I'm on a roll today for Carla aka Covington Crafter's terrific VSN challenge.....Give Me a Head With Hair!!
I tried to join in Carla's challenge yesterday, I stamped this image on vellum and learnt the hard way that touching stamped vellum (before heat setting) isn't a good idea.
When I make backgrounds I usually do a full A4 sheet, so here is some more of the Brusho cardstock I made for my other card.
With the magic of MISTI I stamped this image (and sentiment) about 10 times with Versafine to get it to look dark enough on the hectic background. I added a few flicks with a beautiful Gelli Roll pen that was a RAK from JodyLynn.
Thank you for looking.

I love that stamp and have never had luck stamping it - I am going to stamp mine 10 times with my MISTI and see if I can finally get it right too! Great advice. Love your bg - really stunning - the card is stunning too. Wonderful work my friend! Hugz

Oh my word, Susie! What a striking piece of art! I love her hair; what a marvelous image! This piece of your Brusho card stock from the other card sure is astonishing! Her hair seems to flow along with the brush strokes on the Brusho art piece. Another piece of priceless art, my lovely friend!

Outstanding and Beautiful! If this is a quick card, I need to learn your secrets! Love your work with the Gelli Roll pen too, adding so much interest! What a fabulous image you chose for that dramatic background!

Wow, what an amazing background, sis! How do you do that? The colors are gorgeous, and I love this image!! Beautiful sis!
Becky and I are going up to a stamping store on Tuesday, and I hope to see what they have going on there with this kind of style. They always keep up to the latest and greatest. Brushos and Dylusions mystify me! Ha! Hugs, sis (and extra squishy hugs to you and BIL!).
