This is for today's CAS and TLC Challenges. For the CAS challenge:
L- layers
O- oval
V- violet
E- embossed
For the TLC challenge, I stamped the daisies with VersaMark ink, added white embossing powder, then sponged on TH Tumbled Glass. Next I used a watercolor brush to add water to the petals and centers of the daisies. The water reacts with the distress ink and lifts most of the color. I added Shaded Lilac back into the petals and Scattered Straw into the flower centers. I saw a video for this technique by Jennifer McGuire. I will try this again, but I think I should have used a darker blue ink.

Very pretty! I see that you did the watercolor lifting technique that Jennifer McGuire demonstrated recently on her blog. I like the effect you achieved. Nicely done! TFS
