I made this after taking a watercolouring class. Not sure that I actually used any of the techniques from the class, but it inspired me to create this card.
The background is splash watercolour (hope to be sharing more info about that soon!). I love the random splattered look.
The outline pot image was stamped in ink, and then I used watercolour paints to fill in. I used more watercolour paints for the flowers and greenery, just done by hand. The flowers are basically blobs of paint with a little shading Nothing fancy here.
The only disappointment is that I added my signature in black ... it should have been a gray or something. It sticks out like a sore thumb. But once it's there, no way to get rid of it, so I have to embrace it and move on.

Most beautiful "blobs" I have ever seen. . This is beautiful, Loll. And, truly, even with you pointing out the black signature, I still don't think it looks out of place. I don't even think it would have registered with me had you not mentioned it. Your pretty flowers and pot were the thing that drew my eye.

Absolutely incredible, Loll. That splashing technique will be something I will be trying. Off to your blog right now. Unfortunately, I don't have any of the pull down ways to leave a comment, but just know that I do visit your blog and have really been trying to create cards as beautifully as you.

Congrats, Loll. Lorraine knows talent when she sees it. I'm elated for you. It's got to be a wonderful feeling being recognized for the skills you have worked so hard to develop.
