Vicki is our hostess this week and she has chosen so saffron, soft sky and going gray, and for dessert: scallops. I had to sub for both the soft sky (baja blue), and daffodil (for the so saffron), and I passed on desert this time. Used an angled stitched die for the top panel, and stamped my bg with the distressed pattern splats, but I also spattered with diluted white acrylic paint and the going gray ink. The top layer of the large butterfly is die cut from vellum. The angled panel is popped up with dimensionals. The rest is pretty clear.

Wow I'm loving these colours. What a beautiful card - the bold stripes are a great base and of course sequins are THE perfect finish. Thanks so much for sharing with us at Just Add Ink this week. Patrice x

This is another beauty Maura! The colour variation and contrast with the stripes and banner is so striking too! Thanks for sharing with us at Just Add Ink, Jan M:-)

Love it! the butterflies are beautiful and nicely arranged with the grunge background. Wonderful use of the colors. The stripes at the bottom with the "v" edge is great. Super card. TFS
