This is for Maura's fun colour challenge - Melon Mambo, Pretty in Pink, Pumpkin Pie and for desert, favourite shade of green.
I am still away, hence the iPad dodgy photo and limited supplies. I brushoed (is that a word) a full A4 sheet. I used heaps of water and kept tilting the paper from side to side.
Until I saw Sabrina's beautiful card last week - MIX155 Floral Hug by Cook22 at Splitcoaststampers, using this stamp, I thought it was a feather stamp LOL, turns out it is a floral arrangement. I learn something new everyday here in Splitcoaststamperville.
Using my MISTI and Versafine ink, I stamped the flower then coloured it with pencils. I got a bit carried away and used one (ok 3) pencils that were not quite the right colours.
Because this is just going in my book, I played around with the doodles, water drops and border. It is also a great way to experiment with different pens. I love the idea of art journaling, but I am too impatient for gesso and stuff. Making card panels is great fun, because I do most of my backgrounds on a full A4 sheet, I can put one panel in my book and keep the rest for a couple of cards.
Thank you for looking.

Susie, your doodles are terrific! Thank you so much for sharing your journal page with us. And yes my friend, for you "Brushoed" is a word Do you have any idea how much we all love you?! Oh the time we'd have should we get the chance to meet one day (she giggles).
I'll share a little story with you. My youngest sister, Cheri, once told us that she and her hubby had had an argument and she was so upset with him that she said, "Sit down at this table right now, we're going to have a (discussment)!" My other sister and I just looked at each other and burst out laughing. I said, "Cheri, you realize discussment isn't a word, right?" Well it ought to be she said! Just the thought of that day brings a smile to my face.

Loving your art journal pages, my friend. Marvelous colors and doodles to complement your stamp. Don't you think you should have a Christmas one in there? After all there's only 336 sleeps to go ; )

Wowza Susie! Love the paper. I can't seem to get my Brushos to turn out that stunning...I have got to research better how to use them so I can get to this level of intense color and stunning BG. Super job on the added doodling and water drops too. You are so inspiring me to want to try my brushos again. Thank you!
