Vicki is our hostess this week and she chosen silver, gold and black - desert is New Year's Eve. I made 2 cards and this one is a shaker card for my niece's New Year's Eve wedding (that's close enough for desert, I think!) I embossed the panel behind the opening with a heart ef, and I die cut the circular opening in the front panel and lined it with clear acetate, Then punched glitter hearts, and die cut the gold foil "congrats" and attached to the front panel of card. Filled the "shaker space" with a variety of sequins, and then attached the top panel with lots of dimensional tape. The die cut champagne glasses are stamped and then the "champagne" is gold embossed. I attached these to the outside of the window. Come and join in the challenge - you may be our next favorite!!

I love shakers cars, they are among my favourites to make. I love that you took this circular inspiration from Bibi's card and made one that just screams "celebrate". Thanks so much for playing at Global Design Project with us. Merry Christmas!

Beautiful shaker card and sure to be a hit with the bride and groom, Maura! So appropriate to have the champagne glasses for this New Year's Eve wedding! Your bling is pretty and not too overwhelming; love the embossed heart bg~
